Sister Entrepreneurs
In the beginning it was a dream. There were challenges along the way with countless ideas. How was I supposed to put it all together. It was something that felt foreign and out of my league. Not being familiar with computers made this more difficult and uncertainty was my enemy. And how does one go from years of working an eight to five job, to working from home developing that far fetched idea... and so the story line begins here....
Trials and tribulations followed! I had to teach myself everything that a brick and mortar store would have had to know and more, computers ugg!
I find myself working odd times of the day, many times more than 40 hours per week. For young or aspiring entrepreneurs being bombarded from all angles with the "entrepreneurial grind" on social media, it's hard to know how many hours entrepreneurs truly work.
I wouldn't let myself get burned out. I knew the end result would be rewarding if I was careful and distributed my time between life, family and business.
After years of working in the tourism sector it’s easy to see where my strengths came from. Retiring gave me a new lease on life. Aspiring to be creative and allowing my thoughts to flow, like an artist visualizing their every stroke on canvas, I too visualized and set my sight on a bigger picture!!.
I'm a bit of a, determined kind of person. So setting foot on another platform was exciting, encouraging and, well just plain fun...
